SBDC-OC board, committee and staff members enjoyed an annual corporate retreat and board meeting on Aug. 23 at the Secret Island Tiki Restaurant & Lounge in Long Beach. The festive, Polynesian-themed site was chosen for its location in an early-1900s historic building that holds a storied connection with the organization. Attendees enjoyed networking, meeting new colleagues, and receiving fun giveaways to mark the occasion including branded shirts and tiki figurine mugs.
