Disaster Assistance Loan Guarantee Program

 
 

The Small Business Finance Center (SBFC) partners with Small Busines Development Corporation of Orange County to provide loan guarantees and direct loans for small businesses that experience capital access barriers.
 
Small businesses including nonprofits, located in California with up to 750 employees are eligible to apply.
 
Guarantee Terms:

  • Loans up to $1.25 million

  • Guaranteed up to 7 years; term can be longer

  • Guarantees up to 95% of loan or $1.0 Million

  • Loan interest rates:

    • 95% Guarantee: Does not exceed WSJP + 1.0%

    • 90% Guarantee: Between WSJP + 1.0% and WSJP + 2.0%

    • 85% Guarantee: Exceeds WSJP + 2.0%

  • Business must meet the Small Business Loan Guarantee and located in Disaster Area

  • Business activitity must be eligiable under the program and in one of the industries listed in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes list.

 Use of Funds:

  • Significant Actual Physical Damage

  • Significant Economic Injury

  • Disaster Relief

How to Apply:

Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), Community Lending Institutions, and Financial Development Corporations (FDCs) are able provide loan guarantees for small businesses. To apply:
